It's not an happy ending Cinderella movie, it's an almost unbearable heart breaking drama. It sends you shivers on your spine. Todd Filed's movie explores from really intimate moments in which you can be part of characters' every breathe and passion and sense of lust to tragi-comedy sequences which makes you sick. And… there she was Betty Halbreich, at 85 years old, NY’s go-to personal shopper, creator of her own job. Betty served the high society ladies and celebrities find the perfect frock for the past 40 years. From Meryl Streep to Estee Lauder, from Sarah Jessica Parker to Lauren Bacall, she seized them all with her gifted eye. I just adored her sharp eye and even sharper tongue.
